The Church seems to be really freaked out about gay marriage, but Phil wants to ask a question, “Is gay marriage any more sinful than a straight marriage that doesn’t glorify God?”
Here’s more from Phil:
“Marriage is used by God as a living illustration of our relationship with Him, so in that sense, gay marriage is offensive since God describes Himself as the husband and the Church as His wife. That being said, a ‘God-less’ straight marriage can’t be that much less holy, right? How can a non-Christian, straight marriage be any more holy went it, too, profanes God’s use of marriage when both parties are fulfilling their role by God’s grace and for His glory?”
Those are Phil’s thoughts. What are yours? Feel free to let him know on Twitter.
